Lyndsie Nash’s career is built on her connections with nature.  Growing up in Northern Michigan Lyndsie’s earliest memories exemplify her outdoor lifestyle.  She went on to study clothing design, launching her career in the outdoor industry and prompting a move west.  Through her collective passions of fashion, creative problem solving and outdoor adventure she designed and tested her creations with world-class athletes throughout the Sierra Nevada Mountains and beyond.   Teaching at California College of the Arts became another rewarding professional experience before moving to Park City, Utah with her family to realize their dream of living in the mountains.   

To further translate her connections with nature Lyndsie paints figurative work in the landscape where she applies her deep understanding of composition, drawing, color and textural qualities to evoke a vast array of emotions while being outside.  Through her curiosity and sensitivity she highlights these connections with her subjects as seen directly from lived experiences under natural light.  From those moments of discovery she reveals her subject’s depth of character through painting studies, abstractions and large-scale artworks. Her work exemplifies women seen from the perspective of another woman, surrounded in the beautiful nuances of our natural world.
